This project musically ranges between the genres atmospheric to spacy trip hop, ambient, electro and experimental music.
Basically, it is a “fusion project” which inter-stylistically consists of the most diverse influences and forms of appearance of electronic music. Sol-fire originated from the intention of connecting electronic music with didgeridoo sounds. In cooperation with a very accomplished didgeridoo player who was equally ambitious when it came to tinkering with sounds the project was founded in 2002.
An important feature is the integration of various self-made sound textures, the human voice which is sometimes mystically to abstract cryptically modified, ethnic instrumentations like didgeridoo or drums and percussion instruments.
The result is a unique musical context which again and again springs auditive surprises, and with each track takes the listener on a journey into permanently alternating worlds.
